Building Political Power for LGBTQ+ Ohio

Ohio Pride is a political action committee dedicated to building political power for LGBTQ+ equality across every corner of Ohio. We endorse pro-equality candidates regardless of party, mobilize voters, and fight anti-LGBTQ+ legislation in the Ohio Statehouse.

Founded in 2026, Ohio Pride is a non-partisan political committee focused singularly on electing candidates who will protect and advance the rights of LGBTQ+ Ohioans and their families. We are funded entirely by grassroots supporters and community allies.

Why We're Different

The Electoral Work Others Can't Do

Ohio has strong LGBTQ+ advocacy groups, and national PACs that back LGBTQ+ candidates. Ohio Pride is different: a nonpartisan, state-level political action committee that endorses any pro-equality candidate — LGBTQ+ or ally — who shares our values. As a PAC, we complement that advocacy work with tools the nonprofit structure isn't built for:

Endorse pro-equality candidates of any party — LGBTQ+ or ally — at every level of Ohio government, from school board to statewide races.
Campaign in direct support of pro-equality issues and ballot measures, not just candidates.

Why We're Needed Now

A Critical Moment for LGBTQ+ Ohio

The 136th Ohio General Assembly has introduced a wave of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, from forced outing bills to restrictions on healthcare and drag performance. At the same time, 2026 is a historic election year with all five statewide executive offices on the ballot, a special U.S. Senate election, and critical statehouse races.
