Drag Out The Vote Ohio

Your stage. Your feed. Our vote.

A guide for drag artists and hosts. The ask, the lines, the graphics, the dates. Everything on this page is yours to use.

Why we are asking

Drag is the voice of our community. Friday and Saturday nights, Sunday brunch: your stage is where we gather, and for a lot of us it is church. This election decides who writes the laws we live under in Ohio. Nobody reaches our people like you do, so we are asking every queen in the state to use the mic and the feed to get our people to make a plan to vote.

The ask

  • Say it from the stage

One line between numbers. Pick one below or say it your way.

    Jump to the lines

  • Post it

    1. Save a graphic below or make your own.
    2. Post it with your caption.
    3. Tap Invite collaborator and add @ohiopridepac so it reaches both crowds.

  • Keep it going

Early voting runs Oct 6 to Nov 1. Election Day is Nov 3. Every show, every week.

Not a campaign for anyone

We are not telling anyone who to vote for, and these graphics never will. Tell your people to vote their conscience for the people they believe will show up for our community. That is the whole message.

Stage lines

Five lines, one per week. Thirty seconds between numbers.

  1. Week of Oct 5

Before the next number. Early voting is open in Ohio. Make a plan tonight. When, where, how. Then go.

  2. Week of Oct 12

Ohio wants a photo ID at the polls. Check your wallet now. Driver's license, state ID, passport, military ID. No ID? The BMV will give you one free.

  3. Week of Oct 19

Voting absentee? Your request has to be at the board of elections by 8:30 pm Tuesday the 27th. Not postmarked. There.

  4. Week of Oct 26

This is the last weekend to vote early. Saturday 8 to 4. Sunday 1 to 5. Monday is closed. Go, and take someone.

  5. Nov 2 and 3

Tuesday. Polls open 6:30 to 7:30. If you are in line at 7:30, you vote. Vote your conscience for the people who will show up for us.

Make it yours. Say it the way you would say it. The dates are the only part that cannot change.
